I heard some great news this week. ClickBank began accepting
PayPal for online purchases through their system. On hearing that,
I knew it would help Clickbank merchants increase sales, but I
never imagined by how much.

Wow! I noticed a significant increase in sales, as I only offered the
Paypal option to those who could tell me which affiliate referred
them to my site, to be fair to my affiliates.

The best aspect of this change is that affiliates whose merchants
accepted Paypal payments on their sites alongside the Clickbank
option, should now see a nice increase in their commissions.

15 Website Elements That Attract Visitors

Here is a quick list of components that make a website
attractive. They are listed in layers of attractiveness beginning
with the "must" haves, to "nice to haves."

1. State the website's purpose up front and clearly of the site.
Do this as quickly as possible. The visitor needs to know
immediately if they have landed on the right site. They also
need to know "what’s in it for me to stay here." If you don't
provide this, they are gone. 90% of the sites on the Net don't
do this.

2. Give visitors the ability to search for exactly what they are
looking for, if they have something exact in mind. A "site search
feature" satisfies this best. Allow the search feature to be
prominently displayed and not hidden away somewhere. It is
best place in the navigational system so that it shows up on
every page. Sales letter only websites are an exception to this
rule. Return visitors and visitors that have something specifically
in mind, want the option and ability to find what they want fast.
So give it to them.

3. Photos allow connection. Especially to people who process
visually. Clip art gets them to pay attention, however, it doesn't
create much of a connection. Personal photos connect within
reason. Keep them less than three to a page. One photo always
needs to be in the top portion of the screen on the first page.
It doesn't need to be large, but attractive.

4. Ways to capture visitors information wherever possible.

5. Place items on the site that keep them lingering. Audio and
video are one of these, yet there are other less time consuming
and inexpensive ways to keep them entertained.

6. Articles. For solopreneur sites, your own written articles.
For other sites, articles with various authors yet on focus.

7. Interactive elements. For example: response forms, quizzes

8. If you use a shopping cart, it must be fluid, no hiccups. PayPal
is not a shopping cart, it’s a hiccup. All auto responders must be
well written and positive. If someone purchased something, they
need the energy of "thank you."

9. Give offers that are of value.

10. Clear path of where a newcomer can start if it is their first
visit.

11. Newsletter that is consistent with the 80/20 rule. 80% value
and 20% marketing.

12. E-courses of value.

13. Well-written e-books: 50-75 pages, plus valuable information
(info not found anywhere else). Length doesn't do more than
provide perceptive value. Once purchased and the vastness is
only fluff, then your credibility is shot. Complimentary e-books
meet the same requirements.

14. Give them other ways to receive more on...you if you are
the focus...or the information if that is the focus.

15. Automated referral system. If you want referrals for your
products or services, make it easy for you to get them. Set it up
so it’s as automatic as possible, and clear and easy for someone
to send you a referral. Be clear on what and how you want to
give for that referral.

HOW TO CHOOSE A COMPANY THAT WILL STILL BE AROUND AT PAYDAY!

It happens over and over again. It has happened for many years
with store-front businesses and mail-order opportunities. And it
seems to be even worse with internet companies.

What is it? The “here today and gone tomorrow” syndrome! Now
you see it … and doesn’t it look good? Now it’s gone … it flat
disappeared, just like magic! What happened?

Possibly our “instant-thinking society” is largely to blame, along
with a mixture of need and greed. We want fast foods, quick
lubes, and instant cash!

And when it comes to making money on the internet, we sure
want to believe the promises of instant success. It's easier to jump
in with both feet and think we will get rich with no recruiting and
no work, than it is to do our “homework” and dig into the facts
about the offer. Hmmm….maybe some of these “opportunities”
actually resemble a lottery.

In reality, what all too often happens, is that the so-called
“opportunity” was hype and the company fails. As people begin
to realize that they are not making money, and, perhaps, the
products are pretty much worthless, they start dropping out.
Its like a domino effect…the people on the bottom quit, then the
next group that is now on the bottom quit, and this continues
until so few people are left, that the company can’t stay in
business. If you happen to be an affiliate for that short-term
company, you get burned!

What do you need to know to prevent this from happening to you?
You should start by finding out about the company that you hope
will pay you “nice bonus checks” some day. If the info is not in their
literature, ask questions.

I. How long has the company been in business? Well over 90% of
new companies will not survive even the first two years! You need
to acknowledge the fact that if you choose to join one of the “hot
new ground floor” opportunities, no matter how good a promoter
you have been, if the company fails, you fail, too! Here’s a warning
sign to heed: if a promoter tells you that you “need to get in early”
or you will lose out, don’t even take a second look!

II. Take a good look at the product line. Would you even consider
purchasing the products for yourself if you did not have a promise
of making money? Are the products good enough that you would
be glad to see your friends use them, even though your friends
may have no interest in your business opportunity? Personally,
I sometimes order nutrition products from companies simply
because I want their products, but do not want to pursue their
business opportunity.

Are the products consumable? Will the purchaser be back to buy
more of the same products? Non-consumable products may be
good products, but will involve a lot more selling skills.
Is the timing right for the products? For example, people today
are looking for ways to feel better, look younger and lose weight,
using good nutrition products. Thus, a nutrition company that
offers well-researched products, products that can help people
improve their lives, could be a good choice.

III. Is the promoter of the opportunity telling you that you
won’t have to work to make money? While it certainly is possible
for you to be one of the lucky people who receive enough “spillover”
to make a little money in some programs, don’t you count on it!
In most cases, you will have to do some work to receive an income.
After all, you are joining a business opportunity. Expect to work it
like a business.

Internet businesses, however, do generally enable you to work
part-time from the comfort of your own home, choose your own
hours, and invest whatever money you are comfortable with.

So, maybe you have found several opportunities that seem to
meet our “stable company” requirements as described in this
article. The company has good, consumable products and has
been in business for a few years.

Additional points to consider before making your selection have
to do with the kind of help and support you will get. Does the
company offer training, business tools, and good leads to help you?
Will your prospective enroller be around to help you? Write or call
this person who says that he or she wants to be your sponsor, and
ask some questions.

Choosing the best business opportunity is a decision you want to
make wisely. Once you choose the right business for yourself, you
will continue to have many offers from people who want you to
join their “hot, new deal.” Don’t join them. Take the time to learn
everything you can about your new company and its products
before you even consider anything else! Jumping around from
opportunity to opportunity leads to failure. To succeed with any
business requires focus.

The more confidence you have that you chose the best business
for yourself, the better chance you will have for success!

Using flyers to advertise your online business

Using flyers is one commonly overlooked method of advertising
offline. Flyers are extremely easy to create. They also allow you
to exhibit some of your creative side, making it just that much
more fun to make money.

In some areas, you may be able to put up as many flyers as you
can afford to duplicate! The more flyers you put up the better
chances you have of making money.

Go to the web site of the product your promoting, and save
their web page to your hard drive. Modify the page a little bit
so that it is in the form of a flyer, and be sure to include your
own affiliate link on the flyer to ensure you make money.

Once you are satisfied with the way it looks, compile a list of
all the possible places you may be able to put up your flyers,
(ie) college campuses, neighborhood bullentin boards, super-
markets, etc. If you don't have the time to place them, consider
hiring someone to do it for you.

If your flyer directs your potential customer to a web site, then
the only traffic you will receive are those people who would take
the time to enter your web address into their Internet Browser.
That's pretty qualified traffic!

Let's break it down and estimate the amount of sales/traffic
you could receive from a well planned offline flyer campaign.
Say you print 500 flyers promoting an affiliate product that you
signed up for. If you put up 500 flyers on bulletin boards that
allow your flyers for two weeks, you have an almost 100%
guaranteed exposure number of 500 times 14 or 7000
impressions. If 1% of 7,000 are converted to a $30 dollar sale,
you have just made $2,100 or 70 sales. Now that's good money
if you ask me.

All you have to do is find a way to convert your affiliate products
web site to a flyer, and print out as many copies as you can afford.
Then the small task of getting them circulated.

Several months ago I ran a test campaign similar to this and
started to receive sales the day after I posted all my flyers.

You may want to add flyers as part of your advertising plan.

These are good tips for an affiliate business to be successful.

While it can be quite easy to start an online business, not all people
make a success. How then successful business man/woman could
make it? Every successful business has its own story, however,
there are some common factors that make a business hard to fell

1. Set a goal
Without a goal, a success is driven just by chance and it's very low.
Your ultimate goal is generating substantial income from your site.
But how much? If you're an affiliate business starter, don't set too
much: otherwise you'll be depressed. For each site I built and going
to build, my firs goal is to earn about $500 a month. For some
people, this may sound too small or may not. But in reality to reach
$500 within 2 month is a success. Build more than one content site.
This is what most of affiliates do. Let's say you build 10 niche web
sites. This will make you $5,000 a month.

2. Make a plan
A plan makes your work be organized. Building an affiliate site within
two month is a descent plan. Within the first month, do a research to
find profitable keywords, affiliate programs, and some resources to
which you can refer when you write content pages. And within the
second month write one article every day. At the end of second month
you will have keyword rich contents armored with affiliate program.
And publish it by obtaining domain name and web hosting company.

3. Set a budget
While you can start an affiliate business even without investing any
penny, it is recommended to make a descent investment. We all know
that something for nothing mentality eventually doesn't work.
Inevitable investment is for the domain name and web hosting. If you

8. Make yourself determined

Most of affiliates say it takes at least 4 months to build a substantial
targeted traffic. So be patient. And instead of being frustrated, check

master of several sites, etc.. Sounds good? There is a problem,
though. How can you manage your time?

The online auction giant - eBay - has exploded on the Internet scene.
Currently boasting over 29 Million members, eBay is one of the most
visible and far-reaching Internet companies in existence, with a large
segment of the population either using the service, or at the very
least, aware of it. Among the eBay sellers, there is a designation
given to approximately 4% of the people. These are eBay's
"Powersellers", a group of sellers that is distinguished by the amount
of volume they produce. The entry-level Powerseller, the Bronze
level, does at least $2,000 a month in eBay sales, maintains a 99%
positive feedback level and maintains their eBay account current.
Higher award levels are granted at the $10,000 level, (Silver level)
and at the $25,000 level.

Powersellers are serious - Powersellers treat their eBay business just like they would any other business. They are dead-serious about it. While a Powerseller may not have invested thousands of dollars into her operation, she treats it as if she has.

Powersellers are focused - A Powerseller is focused on listing, packing and shipping, often on different days of the week. Their focus is as intense as that of a Corporate Executive or an Olympic athlete, because they are juggling various activities at the same time.

Powersellers are organized - The Powerseller is organized, otherwise they wouldn't make it to the level of Powerseller. Since Powersellers do a huge volume of listing, packing and shipping each month, they must develop processes to ensure that the items sold are delivered within a reasonable period of time and that customer satisfaction is always at the forefront.

database.

about links stealing potential sales from you.

In addition to getting you more productive reciprocal links, this
strategy will also allow you to develop important relationships
that can later result in profitable joint ventures or even free

2. Encourage your database of customers or mailing list -- or
whatever you use to contact potential or previous customers--
to interact with you on a personal level when you market a
product or service to them. You need to be very honest with
your customers if you want them to trust you. It is fair to say

a product that has actual value, then you should have no

1. Set up a PayPal account so you can receive money from your
eBay sales. It'll take a few days to verify your account, so do
this right away.

2. Set up an eBay account if you don't already have one.

4. Look at some of the items you've gathered to sell. Go to eBay
and do a search for that item. See how much it's listed for and if
anyone is bidding on it.

5. Decide the lowest price you can or will accept for this item.

list your item for $50. People may be willing to pay that much,
but they don't want to start bidding at that price.

6. You will pay a listing fee, a final value fee, and if you accept
PayPal you will pay a fee there, too. Know what those fees are
before you list your item unless you want to just give it away.

7. Read the eBay Terms of Agreement and abide by them.
Certain items are illegal to sell.

8. Be sure you have an accurate weight when you list your
product. You don't want to get stuck paying your own money
for shipping.

9. List your item(s), taking all of these things into consideration.

10. List your auction for 1, 3, 5 or 7 days. I like to start my
auctions in the evening so people are typically home and can be
in front of their computers to bid. Take time zones into
consideration. Auctions will end at the same time of day you list
them unless you want to pay more!

Offer solutions if possible, too. Not only will this approach get you
better results, but you'll be building your relationship with your
upline instead of tearing it down.

6. Be organized, but don't allow the act of organizing keep you
from the most important element of a successful business:
MARKETING. Market and promote your business EVERY DAY!
Don't let little problems upset you. Concentrate on the many
positives...and the "big picture."

7. Always remember that the only thing that will never change
is that there will always be changes. Don't let changes upset you.
Know that you will have to deal with changes and other obstacles,
both big and small, continually. Be prepared to be flexible.

8. Don't be a negative thinker and don't let the negative attitudes
of others (even if they're family members, friends, or peers)
influence you. All the great men and women in history had to
overcome the naysayers who said it couldn't be done—and then
went out and did it. Think for yourself!

9. Don't be derailed by "perfection paralysis." Realize that you
won't be able to do everything perfectly. Do the best job you can,
then move on to the next project. Keep learning and keep moving
ahead.

10. Read books (such as Napoleon Hill's classic, "Think And Grow
Rich") that will convince you how powerful your mind really is.
Develop the tremendous potential in you (that we all have) that
has never been tapped!

11. Don't quit. The only way to fail is if you give up. Remember
always..."You are what you think you are"

The truth about Google’s Adsense program is that it is amazing.
It’s the greatest affiliate program ever invented. There is no
affiliate program that even comes close. If you are not using
Google’s Adsense, you’re truly missing out on a great opportunity.
I’ve tried several other affiliate programs, and the only one that
is creating revenue even close to Google’s, is the Amazon.com
affiliate program. Amazon.com’s affiliate program pays 5%
commission and up for shipped products. It’s not really clear how
Google pays you, but let me tell you it seems very fair. They do
not pay per clicks, leads, or click throughs; they have a secret
formula that no one will tell. But trust me it works. I was making
pennies off of clicks monthly, until I joined Google. Then the
pennies became dollars.Here are some basic tips for signing up
with Google’s Adsense program.

Tip # 1 If you search multiple websites in different categories
you’ll find one thing in common. Almost all of them have Google
ads and nothing else. This is because most other programs are a
waste of time. Don’t take my word for it. Try other programs,
but don’t skip Google’s Adsense.

Tip # 2 Google’s search spiders are so specific, that the ads that
appear on each page correspond exactly to some element of that
page. Therefore, having ads from other companies is not a good
idea.

TIP # 3 You can place text, image, banner ads and even a search
box that will earn your company revenue. Do not place a search
box from another company on the same page as Google’s search
box. They may stop working with you.In summary, the Adsense
program is a great way to make revenue, has incredibly targeted
ads and don’t use other search boxes on the same page as a Google
